Baby Nursery Wall {1}

Neil and I decided early on that we weren't going to put the baby in a separate room. We want him or her to be with us in our room and I didn't want to have to go from room to room to breastfeed in the middle of the night. And because we rent, it's not very practical to paint our room because we'll just have repaint it back when we move. My current Pinterest board is full of nursery photos with neutral walls.

We rearranged our bedroom and now the crib is on it's own wall. I was looking at it the other day and its just screaming to have a little baby decor. And, I convinced Neil that we could just paint one wall! :)

So, here is the starting point...please ignore the messy bed and the laundry in the crib.

My idea is I'll have a blog post for inspirations, paint colors, wall decor, craft projects and crib bedding.

First off - FINALLY! I'm glad your blogging again :)

Secondly - have you thought about those easy decal thingys? I'm not sure what they're called but there like stickers for the wall. I've seen some really cool things with that.

I agree with Vanessa! Glad you are blogging again. And you should check out etsy for vinyl wall decals...or pinterest (as pinterest has everyting!)

Amanda - you could frame some great fabric too as artwork. Have you heard of spoonflower (http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome)?

Also, you look at the children section on the Apartment Therapy website. They have some awesome baby room ideas.

Posted the wrong website originally. Here's the right one!
